Once owned by the Verplanck family who operated a mill at Fishkill Plains from the late 1730s. Their mill was so successful, they opened a road between the mill and the Hudson River, establishing a Landing called Farmers' Landing. The house served as an agent’s home/office who managed the docks and shipping of produce from local farms.
After you view the first and second floors of this historic house enjoy an afternoon tea with Prosecco, tea, finger sandwiches and sweet treats!
